Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Style and Ambiance to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and style of our properties, ensuring that they meet the high standards of our brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Style department, overseeing the organization of talent schedules, hotel cleaning plans, inventory, cost tracking, brand standards adherence, and team training and development.
- Develop and implement design strategies to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of design and style initiatives.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure that properties are meeting design and style standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in design and style.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a design or style leadership role in a 5-star hotel or resort.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong team spirit with a passion for attracting, developing, and retaining talent.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong management skills.
- A genuine interest in the worlds of taste, sound, body, scene, and stance.
