EXCITING OPPORTUNITY WITH THE W VERBIER TEAM

Our Marketing and Communications division is seeking a Marketing & PR Specialist who can effectively convey the W brand across various channels and contribute enthusiasm to our team.

The Marketing Specialist will assist the Marketing Director in executing diverse initiatives aimed at enhancing the visibility of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication abilities and a polished presentation style. Adaptable, self-sufficient, and proficient in utilizing a range of digital tools, the perfect fit will have a deep understanding of W's culture (values, passions, and identity) and its strategic position within the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the hotel's digital displays and electronic compendium
- Managing the hotel and venue websites (including maintenance and updates)
- Updating partner websites where the hotel is featured
- Engaging with customer feedback on social media platforms
- Monitoring online marketing efforts
- Designing email marketing campaigns to promote the hotel
- Creating print and digital promotional materials (collateral, point-of-sale advertising, posters, brochures, flyers, presentations)
- Coordinating press visits
- Participating in significant events to promote the hotel
- Guiding press groups during hotel tours
- Researching and procuring promotional items
- Assisting during photo and video productions
- Organizing Marriott Bonvoy Moments for program members
- Supporting the Sales Department
- Ensuring adherence to W Brand Standards in all communications and visuals

CANDIDATE PROFILE

- Strong interpersonal skills, approachable and friendly, diplomatic and organized
- Excellent presentation abilities
- Proficiency in both spoken and written French and English is essential
- Solid writing and translation capabilities
- Competence in computer and office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CMS, Outlook, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat)
- Well-connected to local trends or possess a good understanding of current local happenings
- Ability to lead projects and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Capacity to work independently
- Comprehensive knowledge of the product and services offered
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in marketing/PR within the hospitality industry
- Genuine interest in the realms of taste, sound, wellness, and ambiance
