About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Director of Style and Ambiance at Marriott International. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the Style department and ensuring that our hotel's aesthetic and atmosphere meet the high standards of the W brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Style department, including talent schedules, hotel cleaning plans, inventory, cost tracking, brand standards adherence, and team training and development.
- Ensure that rooms, public spaces, and the core of the hotel are impeccably maintained, meeting the high standards of the W brand.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall style and ambiance of the hotel, aligning with the W brand's vision and values.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of style-related initiatives and projects.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing a housekeeping department in a 5-star hotel or resort.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards.
- Fluency in French and English.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong team spirit with a passion for attracting, developing, and retaining talent.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong management skills.
- A genuine interest in the worlds of taste, sound, body, scene, and stance.
