Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to join our global architecture team at RepRisk AG.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, data governance, and data quality.

This role involves designing and optimizing data models, processes, pipelines, and storage solutions for both structured and unstructured data.

You will also contribute to the adoption of innovative data observability and quality tools.

The successful candidate will be part of our global architecture team, reporting directly to the CTO.

  • Design and optimize data models, processes, pipelines, and storage solutions for both structured and unstructured data
  • Contribute to the adoption of innovative data observability and quality tools
  • Support engineers and fellow architects in matters related to your function
  • Proactively inform stakeholders in case of data anomalies or other DQ issues
Key Responsibilities:

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

Implementing advanced data observability and data quality pipelines and processes

Designing and optimizing data models, processes, pipelines, and storage solutions for both structured and unstructured data

Supporting engineers and fellow architects in matters related to your function

Proactively informing stakeholders in case of data anomalies or other DQ issues

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

A Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or data science

Ten years of hands-on experience working with large-scale data, including three years as a data architect

Subject matter expertise in some of the following areas:

  • SOTA data observability tools and SaaS
  • Major SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Big data and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Clickhouse, Redshift or Databricks)
  • AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Data Science and machine learning

Additionally, you will need:

  • Analytical and structured thinking, organized, solution-oriented, and efficient in execution
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in English, every other language is a plus
