The Biozentrum of the University of Basel is a leading life sciences institute, renowned for its fundamental research in various fields, including biochemistry, biophysics, and structural biology. Our research community is comprised of over 30 groups, with approximately 150 PhD students and over 500 employees from diverse backgrounds.
Our Research FocusWe investigate complex biological phenomena, from molecular interactions to organism development and behavior. Our research has led to numerous groundbreaking discoveries in biology and medicine, as well as the recognition of several Nobel Laureates.
PhD Fellowship ProgramWe are seeking highly motivated and ambitious young researchers to join our Biozentrum Basel International PhD Program.
