We are seeking a highly skilled Metals Industry Business Development Executive to join our team in Zurich, Switzerland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic partnerships and negotiations with customers and suppliers in the primary aluminium industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategies for business development and expansion in the metals industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements that drive business growth.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project implementation.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in business development, preferably in the physical commodity sector.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills for effective internal and external interactions.
- A driven and result-oriented personality.
- The ability to think strategically and drive business growth.
- High-level analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English skills are necessary; other languages may be advantageous.
- A good understanding of the metals industry and its key players.
- Proficiency in IT, especially Excel.
- A customer-focused and proactive approach.
