About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team at Splunk Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the Swiss IT market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the Pharma and Life Science industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at large enterprise customers in Switzerland.
  • Negotiate and close complex software licensing deals with a strong focus on value and ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales Engineering, Business Value Advisors, and Professional Services, to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Leverage our partner ecosystem to drive business growth and expand our reach in the market.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and tactics.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of direct selling experience in the Swiss IT market, with a proven track record of success in software sales.
  • Strong understanding of the Pharma and Life Science industry and its key players.
  • Exceptional management, interpersonal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely from other members of the team and corporate.
  • Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
