**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Risk Management Expert to join our team at Phoenix Search & Consulting. This exciting opportunity is perfect for an individual with a strong background in risk management and a passion for delivering high-quality results.

**Job Summary**

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and improving our internal control systems (ICS) across the Group. Your key tasks will include analyzing newly issued governance documents, identifying key controls, and reviewing updated documents to ensure consistency and effectiveness.

You will also support subject matter experts in incorporating key controls into governance documents and work closely with Internal Audit to identify negative trends or outliers. Additionally, you will consolidate and prepare quantitative and qualitative ICS reporting for local management, the Group Risk Committee, General Management, and the Board of Directors.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Analyze newly issued governance documents to identify key controls and ensure their effective implementation.
  • Review updated governance documents to identify any needs for updating existing key controls or creating new ones.
  • Support subject matter experts in incorporating key controls into governance documents.
  • Work closely with Internal Audit to identify negative trends or outliers and propose ad-hoc solutions.
  • Consolidate and prepare quantitative and qualitative ICS reporting for various stakeholders.

**Requirements**

  • A higher education degree in business administration, economics, or a related field.
  • At least five years of working experience in the field of risk management in the financial industry, with additional experience in an international audit firm being desirable.
  • Good knowledge of internal banking operations and processes.
  • Fair understanding of the legal and regulatory environment.
  • Solid user skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Filemaker Pro.
  • Strong analytical skills, a persevering mindset, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and business writing skills in English and German.
