Executive Assistant for Clinical Research and Operations

This is a unique opportunity to work as an Executive Assistant for Clinical Research and Operations in a dynamic and growing department at Universität Bern.

The salary for this role is CHF 60,000 - 80,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to our Head of Business Operations. As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for calendar management, meeting coordination, and correspondence.

You will also assist with project tracking, milestone management, and reporting. Prepare and maintain project documentation, timelines, and deliverables. Additionally, you will support business operations by monitoring key metrics, drafting client-facing documents, and coordinating with internal teams to align processes with client expectations.

Another key aspect of this role is facilitating client onboarding, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and managing follow-ups. You will conduct initial research on potential clients and external project opportunities.

Requirements
  • A minimum of apprenticeship (EFZ) in administration; a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Business is preferred.
  • Administrative experience in clinical research or healthcare; knowledge of clinical trial processes and regulatory standards (GCP, FDA, EMA) is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills are essential.
  • Fluency in German and English is required; other languages are an advantage.
