About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst to join our Group Sales Excellence team at Omya AG. This is a key position that will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth through enhanced pricing methodologies, effective process implementation, and strategic data analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing Methodology: Develop and refine pricing models, manage escalations, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure market requirements are accurately reflected.
  • Pricing Process and Tools: Leverage advanced price management tools and technologies to automate processes, enhance decision-making, and oversee price setting and quote processes within pricing tool, ERP, and CRM systems.
  • Monitoring and Analysis: Develop a comprehensive pricing analysis framework, conduct thorough monitoring of pricing performance metrics (KPIs) consistently, perform scenario analysis of pricing strategies, and provide actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Governance: Implement and enforce governance frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance with established pricing processes, address deviations promptly, and provide clear guidance to sales and marketing teams to maintain alignment.
  • Training: Lead pricing training program for sales and marketing teams, ensuring they can effectively apply pricing strategies, utilize tools, and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pricing, revenue management, finance, or a similar business role, preferably within B2B manufacturing or distribution environments, with expertise in pricing models and processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of pricing and revenue management.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with various teams, including executives and sales and marketing leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Proficiency in German or French is desirable. Any other language is a plus.
  • Ability to structure data analysis in Excel, utilize PowerBI, and create compelling presentations in PowerPoint. Experience with Salesforce and SAP is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, as required.

  • An estimated annual salary of CHF 120,000 - CHF 150,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
