About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Customer Engagement Manager to join our Customer Engagement team at SMG Swiss Marketplace Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing solutions within our Customer Data Platform (CDP) and marketing technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, design, and implement solutions within our CDP and marketing tech ecosystem.
  • Advise the Customer Engagement team on best practices and tech advancements.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments and provide insights.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams for seamless integration.
  • Configure and manage CDP settings, including API integrations.
  • Integrate the CDP with other platforms (e.g., CRM, advertising, analytics).
  • Manage data transformation and ingestion processes.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues in the CDP.
  • Develop and maintain CDP documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years as a CDP solution architect or consultant.
  • Experience with Bloomreach Engagement, Tealium AudienceStream, CrossEngage, Segment, or Salesforce CDP.
  • Proficient in managing APIs, webhooks, and SDKs.
  • Strong in HTML, SQL, Jinja.
  • Skilled in Python or R for data transformation.
  • Familiar with Salesforce CRM and advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook preferred).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in Agile teams.
  • Excellent English communication; German proficiency a plus.
