Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join our team at Axpo. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and automating statutory reporting processes for gas and power trading activities across various countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Submit regular reports for gas and power trading activities, ensuring compliance with local energy regulations.
  • Develop and implement statutory report preparation processes and associated systems.
  • Automate data processing and report generation to reduce errors and enhance efficiency.
  • Coordinate development and delivery with other team members, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Act as the focal point for expertise on incidents and process issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Monitor and implement regulatory changes across various countries, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
  • Ensure tax payments and certificate redemptions align with reporting obligations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements

  • Experience in energy trading and regulatory reporting across different countries, with a strong understanding of local regulations.
  • Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions) and reporting tools, with experience in Power BI and SQL a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., German or French) an advantage.
  • Self-driven and proactive in mastering new challenges, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
