Job Description

Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer to join our team at Badrutt's Palace Hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to ensure the hotel's financial goals are met.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on financial matters.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee the financial operations of the hotel, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
  • Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Accounting or Finance: A Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • Chartered Accountant certification: A Chartered Accountant certification is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in financial management: The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in financial management, including 5+ years of experience as a team manager.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations: A strong knowledge of financial regulations, including tax laws and internal controls, is required.
  • Fluency in English: Fluency in English is required.
