Knowledge Management Manager

At UNICEF, we are committed to promoting the rights of every child. As a Knowledge Management Manager, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve this goal by developing and implementing a strategic framework for knowledge management in the Division.
The Knowledge Management Manager will oversee knowledge management work across the Division, promoting an overall culture of knowledge capture, sharing, and learning through the Division's organizational processes and systems. You will work closely with KM Specialists and focal points in PFP sections to develop and implement a knowledge management strategy that supports the achievement of the goals of the Division.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a knowledge management strategy and framework for the Division
- Providing guidance to KM Specialists and focal points on methodologies, tools, and products for knowledge management
- Identifying business critical knowledge that needs to be made available to stakeholders
- Managing global knowledge and skill sharing events and assistance to technical and specialist meetings
- Conceiving and managing relevant incentives and recognition programs to encourage sharing of experiences and lessons learned
To qualify for this position, you must have:
- An advanced university degree in social sciences, international relations, knowledge management, or a relevant technical field
- A minimum of eight years of progressively responsible professional work experience in knowledge management, some of which are at the international level in the development field
- Proven experience in leading the development and implementation of a knowledge management strategy or framework
