Financial Expert for Blockchain and Cryptocurrency

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional with a strong background in accounting and a passion for the fintech industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in reporting and consolidation under Swiss GAAP and a solid understanding of the cryptocurrency and digital asset domain. They will also possess excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and a profound understanding of IFRS and GAAP accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, refine, and implement accounting methodologies that drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Oversee and collaborate with external accounting teams on various financial functions, including financial forecasting, risk analysis, accounts management, tax return preparation, payroll administration, expenditure control, report compilation, and presentation.
  • Prepare consolidated financial reports for Lykke Group quarterly and act as the primary point of contact for accounting matters.
  • Streamline financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Effectively communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the financial team, fostering professional growth and excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Solid background in accounting with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Big 4 or second-tier consulting firm experience is highly valued.
  • Experience in reporting and consolidation under Swiss GAAP.
  • Understanding and experience of group-wide projects.
  • Analytical, structured, and strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Profound understanding of the cryptocurrency and digital asset domain, including legal and regulatory considerations.
  • Knowledge and experience in IFRS and GAAP accounting standards and regulatory filings in financial services.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent are advantageous.
