Panda Associate Research Manager for Sudan Mission

IMPACT Initiatives seeks a highly skilled Associate Research Manager to join our PANDA team in Sudan. As a key member of our research unit, you will be responsible for overseeing research activities, supervising staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality research products.
The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in a relevant field, such as international relations, political science, or social research. Previous experience in a management role in an INGO, particularly in a humanitarian context, is essential. You will have excellent communication and drafting skills, with the ability to contribute to high-level presentations and briefings.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and oversee the implementation of project strategy, ensuring alignment with the PANDA unit's goals and objectives.
- Supervise and support staff in conducting research, drafting information products, and ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with donors, GAC, implementing partners, and CCS partners to share findings and hold analysis and lessons learned workshops.
- Manage and lead a team of researchers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the delivery of high-quality research products.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Previous experience in a management role in an INGO, particularly in a humanitarian context.
- Excellent communication and drafting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English required; fluency in French is an asset.
