Banking Application Developer

At Swissquote, we're building the bank of tomorrow, and we need talented individuals to help us get there. As a Python, PHP, and PostgreSQL Developer, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our banking applications and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using Python, PHP, and PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain competitive and up-to-date.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2-4 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Python, PHP, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Affinity for banking operations and understanding of financial systems is highly desirable.
