CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, invites applications for a Strategic Engagement Specialist for Open Science. This role is a key position within our Support Services team.
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and contribute to advancing our Open Science strategy. As a Strategic Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing community engagement initiatives that promote improved Open Science practices across our organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in community engagement, educational programs, and research environments. Knowledge of physics or particle physics is an advantage, but not required. Fluency in English is essential, with French language skills being beneficial.
This contract will last 24 months, with the possibility of extension up to 36 months. The monthly stipend will range between CHF 6,212 and CHF 6,828 per month (net of tax). We also offer comprehensive health insurance, membership in the CERN Pension Fund, installation grant, family allowances, and more.
