Job Summary

The Diplomatic Engagement and Protocol Specialist will assist in planning and coordinating official visits by Heads of States, Heads of Government, and high-level dignitaries with the Director General and Sector Leads. The incumbent will also maintain relations and liaison with Member States and other constituents of the Organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Protocol Manager in planning official visits and events.
  • Maintain liaison with Member States and other constituents.
  • Implement VIP treatment for visiting Heads of States and Governments.
  • Follow up on protocol-related correspondence and prepare congratulatory letters.
  • Brief and organize the Events Team on event preparation and coordination.

Requirements

Education

A first-level university degree in international relations or a related field.

Experience

At least three years of relevant professional experience in event management and protocol, international relations.

Language

Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and French.
