About the RoleThis exciting opportunity is available within our Bank Security Department. As a Workplace Safety and Health Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing measures to ensure workplace safety and health among our collaborators.
- You will conduct risk assessments and propose measures to prevent hazards using the STOP method (Substitution, Technique, Organisationnel, Personnel).
- You will assist in and document investigations into workplace incidents.
- You will prepare instructions on occupational health and safety topics and create information materials.
- You will inform and monitor external companies and prepare work instructions.
- You will participate in maintaining the continuity of our MSST system and updating documentation.
This role requires excellent knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and directives, including those from SUVA and MSST. You must be fluent in French and have excellent English skills, with additional languages being an asset. Other required skills include presentation, teamwork, interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish relationships with all levels of management.
About YouTo succeed in this challenging role, you will need:
- A degree in occupational health and safety or equivalent experience.
- Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office software.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
