Job Description
Strategic Business Expansion
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and pursuing new business opportunities through refined networking, comprehensive industry research, and targeted cold calling initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Swissquote at industry events, conferences, and seminars to network with potential clients and forge valuable partnerships.
- Collaborate with our marketing team to set and achieve ambitious business development goals.
- Handle new client leads with diligence, following up on potential clients with precision, and retaining existing clients with strategic engagement.
- Build strong customer relationships, upholding Swissquote's exemplary standards of service.
- Manage daily business contacts with customers through telephone, email, or in-person meetings, ensuring every interaction is meaningful.
- Address sales inquiries and client requests with efficiency and tailored approach.
- Guide potential clients through the account opening process with expertise, making their transition smooth and welcoming.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with:
Proven industry expertise in a senior sales/business development role within the Banking/Financial Industry.A university degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.Exceptional negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing deals.Excellent communication skills, enabling you to navigate complex scenarios and connect meaningfully with clients and colleagues.A wide and established network in Switzerland, particularly in Romandie.The initiative to independently expand and generate business, driving Swissquote's growth through proactive leadership.Fluency in French and English.-
