Job Title: Procurement Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Professional to join our team at Resource Group - Recruitment. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for all operational procurement matters as well as assigned strategic tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining and comparing offers from various suppliers to ensure the best possible price and quality.

  • Conducting price and contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms.

  • Advising and supporting internal stakeholders on procurement-related matters.

  • Creating and maintaining purchasing master data in SAP, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

  • Processing and triggering orders while considering specialist and commercial objectives.

  • Identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities through effective procurement strategies.

  • Completing and monitoring all administrative and follow-up tasks associated with procurement.

  • Participating in meetings of assigned projects to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

  • Supporting strategic procurement initiatives to drive business growth and profitability.

Qualifications:

  • A successful completion of basic commercial or technical training with further training (purchasing specialist and certified purchaser) or completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, or mechanical engineering.

  • Several years of professional experience in procurement with extensive market knowledge in the technical environment.

  • Knowledge/experience in international procurement and contract management is an advantage.

  • Very good MS Office and SAP knowledge, S4Hana is an advantage.

  • Business fluent in German and English (spoken and written).

  • Quick comprehension and ability to structure complex issues.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage different stakeholders.
