Procurement Operations Manager for CSL Bern Site

">CBS Behring AG in Bern is a company specializing in the manufacturing of biotherapeutic products, benefiting from more than a century of experience in treating various diseases worldwide. We are committed to patients suffering from blood clotting disorders, immunological diseases, enzyme deficiencies, and other rare pathologies.
">We produce biotherapeutic drugs to stop bleeding in emergencies or planned surgical interventions. In this role, you will manage the local procurement operations of Bern manufacturing site, ensuring materials are available on time and in the right quality and quantity to produce life-saving products.
">Key Responsibilities:
">You will be responsible for managing activities related to the procurement of materials, supplies, equipment, and services, directing buyers to accomplish company objectives in compliance with company policies and procedures.
">You will negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers and/or approve purchases as authorized, developing and maintaining procurement analysis for key materials detailing price and supply trends, market trends, and future purchasing strategy.
">You will lead materials cost reduction activities and communicate cost savings philosophy to staff, serving as primary management contact and coordinating activities with internal stakeholders to address operational issues.
">You will manage relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of goods/services, contributing to systems and process improvement to deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness of service.
">Monitor and enforce compliance to the Global Sourcing and Procurement Policy.
">Requirements:
">You must have a Bachelor's degree in business or technical field, with 7+ years' experience in procurement/purchasing. A Purchasing Management Certification (ISM/CPM) is also required.
">You should have strong leadership/mentoring skills, with 1st experience in team management. Demonstrated success in contract negotiations is essential.
">English and German language proficiency is necessary.
">Compensation:
">The estimated salary range for this position is between $80,000-$120,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
