Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at HR Talent House SA. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading our engineering team to provide efficient and innovative solutions for the Audit sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Engineering and Project Tasks
- Ensure successful implementation and delivery of complex business and IT transformation projects using established patterns and technology solutions.
- Oversee the delivery value chain and deployment process in collaboration with Product Managers and System Designers.
- Maintain High Standards of Software Quality
- Stay updated on the latest technological advancements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of technology value streams.
- Communicate Risks and Potential Impacts
- Recognize and communicate risks and potential impacts, considering both business and technology implications through the application of engineering principles in the current environment.
Requirements
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience in engineering management or a similar role, such as IT project management, with experience in the Financial/Audit industry being an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in modern DevOps practices, including flow management, value stream mapping, and Agile methodologies, specifically using Azure DevOps for project management and delivery.
- Good understanding of Agile principles, organizational design, and Continuous Delivery methodologies.
- Experience with software programming languages such as C#, Python, PowerShell, or similar is beneficial.
- Strong English communication skills for translating complex technology solutions; knowledge of German is a plus.
