We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our Operation Department at Abbott Laboratories. Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Manage a team of 4-8 engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in our manufacturing processes and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Quality Management: Collaborate with our quality team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Training and Development: Develop and implement training plans to ensure our engineers have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Communication: Foster strong relationships with other departments, including production, quality, and project management.
- Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: More than 5 years of professional experience in leadership and corresponding further education.
- Industry Experience: More than 5 years of professional experience in a manufacturing medical device industry or similar regulated environment.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of regulations applicable in medical technology (ISO 13485 / FDA 21CFR Part 820 / GxP).
- Language Skills: Excellent skills in English, communicative German is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Strong service-oriented personality, strong leadership personality with the will and the ability to get things done.
