**Job Title:** Head Of PIC Manufacturing
**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our PIC manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes, ensuring the highest quality control and yield management standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Development and Implementation: Lead the development and implementation of new PIC manufacturing processes, including the transfer of processes to our manufacturing partner.
- Quality Control and Yield Management: Ensure the highest quality control and yield management standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and production, to drive business growth and meet production targets.
- Industry Trends and Advancements: Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, incorporating cutting-edge techniques and technologies into our manufacturing processes.
- Project Management: Participate in and contribute to international, national, and public-funded projects, including at the technical level and in grant writing and reporting.
- Team Management: Lead a team of process engineers to develop new PIC manufacturing processes and ensure the successful transfer of processes to our manufacturing partner.
Requirements:
- Education: An advanced degree (Master or PhD) in Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience working in micro-fabrication cleanrooms and a minimum of 5 years of expertise working in industrial fabrication facilities.
- Skills: Extensive experience in PIC manufacturing and waveguides, particularly with TFLN and related technologies. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage multidisciplinary teams. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a forward-thinking approach to manufacturing challenges.
- Language: Fluency in English (in verbal or written communication) is a must – German and French are a plus.
