Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Trust Director to administer and enhance client portfolios, ensuring timely care and suggesting improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trust and corporate structures, as well as fiduciary responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Administration
- Administer and enhance client portfolios, ensuring timely care and suggesting improvements.
- Team Management
- Manage team billing and cash collection efficiently to minimize write-offs.
- Review client structures, demonstrate risk awareness, and fulfill review procedures.
- Adhere to contractual and statutory obligations, guiding team members accordingly.
- Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare and review reports for management and meetings.
- Maintain accurate central diary systems to meet deadlines.
- Ensure prompt and professional service to clients and intermediaries.
- Team Development
- Train and manage team members, conducting performance reviews.
- Promote group services to clients and identify new business opportunities.
- Compliance and Governance
- Adhere to compliance procedures and CPD requirements.
- Deputize for senior team members as necessary.
Requirements
- Experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant trust administration experience.
- Qualifications
- STEP qualified with UK legal/tax expertise preferred.
- Skills
- Strong understanding of trust and corporate structures and fiduciary responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to improve work directives and procedures.
- Focus on compliance and regulatory matters, including FATCA and CRS.
