Director of Solutions Engineering

At SpotMe, we're on a mission to revolutionize the way businesses connect with their customers. As a key member of our sales team, you'll play a crucial role in leading technical pre-sales activities for new logo acquisition and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop tailored demos of SpotMe products to showcase their value proposition across key verticals, including life sciences, professional services, and technology.
  • Provide technical pre-sales and solution engineering support to the sales team, capturing and documenting customer use cases and technical requirements, and designing compelling solutions from initial lead to deal closure.
  • Create supporting assets for key deals, such as videos highlighting important capabilities and presentations outlining user experience, data, and system integrations.
  • Drive technical discovery sessions with customers, addressing all buying personas with a detailed implementation plan, including event management, marketing operations, data & analytics, IT, and information security.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role at a growth/scale-up stage SaaS company.
  • Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, video, and event management products, such as Adobe Marketo, Oracle Eloqua, Veeva, and Salesforce Pardot/Marketing Cloud.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, changing environment within a hands-on team, and willing to work extensive and unconventional hours.
  • Track record of leading technical sessions with customers and decision-makers.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken; German/French are a plus.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
