Overview of the Client Management Applications Team
The Client Management Applications team forms part of the Rothschild Private Wealth IT Department. Our primary focus is on managing a portfolio of applications, including:
- Client Information Systems and Workflow Modules (.Net custom development, AngularJS)
- Client Documents Archiving System
- Interfaces to our Core Banking System 'Avaloq' and surrounding systems
- Onboarding workflow tool for agreements generation
- Worldcheck data system
We continually enhance and develop these applications for various Business Units within Rothschild Private Wealth, either internally or through partnerships, driven by change requests and projects.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will act as a Product Owner for certain functional areas, particularly in Content Management for Advisory and Investment Teams, focusing on scalability and efficiency improvements for targeting investment content to clients.
Projects are underway to increase process digitalization, user experience, and Front Office efficiency. This position requires flexibility, proactivity, and responsibility as a member of our team consisting of two IT Business Analysts and four .Net developers.
Responsibilities Include:
- IT Business analysis - Applying structured and methodical approaches to analyzing complex business requirements, mapping them to possible extensions to the application framework, and translating these into clear and precise requirements documentation
- Acting as a Product Owner, taking full responsibility for the application lifecycle and collaborating closely with the business
- Application development - Supporting development of applications and interfaces with our internal .Net developers and external IT providers
- Implementation of system enhancements using the .Net infrastructure and knowledge in other web development environments (Java, J2EE) would be beneficial
- Application Support - Ensuring business users make optimal use of their systems
- Problem Management - Assisting in continual improvement of systems through thorough analysis of issues and their causes
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis and/or IT development
- Ability to comprehend business processes
- Capacity to solve problems independently and efficiently
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong team player with ability to establish trust and confidence amongst peers and colleagues
- Flexible individual willing to engage where required and keen to face new challenges
- Strong Service Delivery mentality with real attention to quality and excellence in all areas
- Experience in the Financial Industry
- Good understanding of IT Infrastructure and its significance to effective business applications
Beneficial Experience and Skills
The following skills and qualifications are advantageous:
- Academic University degree
- Experiences in application design and development
- Knowledge in Content Management Systems, CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, .Net, C#, Angular 2+, SQL
- French or German language skills

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
