About Our Client
MICHAEL PAGE SWITZERLAND, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking an experienced Finance Director Infrastructure to join its team in Zurich.

Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving financial best practices across the portfolio, building strong relationships with CFOs, and leading financial optimization strategies. This role requires a hands-on, proactive approach, with experience in financial advisory, consulting, and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive financial best practices across the portfolio, build strong relationships with CFOs, lead financial optimization strategies, and chair finance committees.
  • Ensure timely delivery of annual budgets and revised 5-year plans by collaborating with finance committees, internal teams, and the board.
  • Oversee accurate quarterly valuations, compile fund-level valuations for approval, and maintain high reporting standards across portfolio companies.
  • Facilitate annual portfolio audits, align with auditors on valuation methodologies, ensure regulatory compliance, and monitor fund concentration limits.
  • Centralize cash planning, coordinate investor drawdowns and capital deployment, and ensure efficient cash pooling across portfolio companies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banks and debt providers, monitor financial markets, and support capital structure optimization.


Requirements
  • 10 years of financial experience as a Finance Director or CFO preferably with infrastructure background
  • Strong experience in FP&A, liquidity management, and capital structuring
  • Prior exposure to renewables/infrastructure M&A is a strong asset
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred
