At ZEDRA, we are seeking a highly skilled Trust Officer to join our team and take direct administrative responsibility for a portfolio of trusts, companies, and other wealth structures. The successful candidate will ensure that first-class service is provided to all clients, intermediaries, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day administration of various entities, including incorporation and liquidation of companies, creation and termination of trusts, drafting minutes.
  • Potential client contact, attendance at client meetings with relationship managers.
  • Processing expense payments and trust distributions.
  • Monitoring and assisting with invoice payments.
  • Dealing with all formalities relating to bank-account openings and maintaining good relationships with banks and other third parties on behalf of clients.
  • Preparation of resolutions, minutes of boards of directors, and minutes of general meetings, responses to KYC requests.
  • Preparation of memorandums and notes on specific transactions and important events related to the life of trusts.
  • Set up and onboarding of new clients in the administration system; document fulfillment for KYC and FATCA/ES and CRS related matters, onboarding, preparation of closing binders.
  • Risk management process through the identification and reporting of specific risks or risk trends to Senior Management and meet all governance, controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policy and procedures.

Requirements

  • Very good organisational and communication skills.
  • Excellent team player, autonomous, and proactive.
  • Fluent level of English is required.
  • 5-6 years of experience in a similar position in the trust industry at a minimum.
  • Experience in dealing with UK res/non-dom clients would be beneficial.
  • Commitment to high-quality professional service levels and desire to get involved in all elements of the lifecycle of structure and administration.

Prior experience in a compliance role is a plus.
