Transportation Infrastructure Planner

About the Role:
As a Transport Planner at Careers@Gov, you will play a key role in shaping the mobility network of Singapore. You will be part of a dynamic team that plans the future transportation infrastructure for Singapore, connecting people, places, and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop car-lite programs and initiatives
- Review parking policies
- Design and supervise data collection activities
- Analyse and interpret survey results
- Develop transport network improvements proposals
- Forecast travel demand
- Assess community benefits and determine economic performance
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Town/Urban Planning, Geography, or a related discipline
- Experience and knowledge in land use planning, transport planning, and/or public engagement
- Knowledge of modeling using EMME, VISSIM/VISUM, and/or SIDRA or other similar transportation models
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable with carrying out public engagement and managing different stakeholders
- Team player with good time management and interpersonal skills
