About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transport Infrastructure Planner to join our dynamic team at the Land Transport Authority (LTA). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the mobility network of Singapore and influencing how Singaporeans travel.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement car-lite programmes and initiatives to promote sustainable transportation;
  • Design and supervise data collection activities, including surveys and analysis;
  • Develop transport network improvements proposals, forecast travel demand, and assess community benefits;
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to identify and develop sustainable, efficient, and safe mobility initiatives and infrastructure.

Your Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Town/Urban Planning, Geography, or a related discipline;
  • Experience and knowledge in land use planning, transport planning, and/or public engagement will be an advantage;
  • Knowledge of modeling using EMME, VISSIM/VISUM, and/or SIDRA or other similar transportation models will be an advantage;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Proactive and self-motivated team player with good time management skills;
  • Resourceful, meticulous, and detail-oriented individual with a strong interest in transport/town/urban planning.
