Job Summary

D-MTEC is seeking a highly skilled Admissions and Events Manager to lead our student recruitment efforts and manage internal and external events. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase application numbers and enhance the quality of admitted students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Student Recruitment and Admissions: Develop and execute recruitment plans to attract top talent, including participating in recruitment fairs, information sessions, and outreach activities. Support the admissions process by advising applicants, reviewing applications, managing interviews, and communicating with applicants.
  • Event Management: Plan and execute internal recruitment events, such as campus tours, open houses, and information sessions, as well as graduation ceremonies and MAS+ events. Coordinate with external vendors to select venues, arrange catering, and manage logistics.
  • Promotion and Visibility: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies to enhance the visibility and awareness of the MAS program. Create engaging content for social media platforms to attract prospective students and conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for program growth.
  • MAS+ Workshop Series Management: Manage the scheduling, promotion, and evaluation of the MAS+ workshop lecture series. Liaise with faculty and guest speakers to ensure timely delivery of lectures and workshops.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales, event management, and/or marketing.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences effectively. Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative strategies.
  • Language: Fluency in English, both written and verbal, German would be an asset.
