Event Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Event Planning Manager to join our team at Hyatt Regency Zurich Airport The Circle.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring exceptional experiences for our guests.
- Plan, organize, and execute a wide range of events and special occasions, while adhering to the highest standards of quality and service in the Convention Center.
- Conduct thorough site inspections to assess event venues, ensuring they meet client expectations and are in line with hotel standards.
- Develop detailed event proposals, budgets, and timelines, providing clients with comprehensive plans that address their needs and preferences.
- Coordinate with internal departments in the hotel to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Foster relationships with external vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and overseeing their performance to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and generate reports to evaluate event performance, identify areas for improvement, and make strategic recommendations for future events.
- Work experience in Event Planning, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, to prioritize tasks and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, guests, and team members.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including experience in managing a team and overseeing event operations.
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box to deliver unique and memorable events.
- Fluency in German and English is a must-have skill, any other language is a plus.
