About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Sales and Marketing professional to lead our Sales and Marketing team. As VP of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and deploying a sales strategy for profitable growth, managing the Sales and Marketing function, and articulating and deploying sales processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Develop and deploy a sales strategy for profitable growth; establish and monitor Key Process Indicators (KPIs).
- Manage the Sales and Marketing Function: Manage the Sales and Marketing team and maximize its impact on the company's growth plans.
- Articulate and Deploy Sales Processes: Articulate and deploy sales processes and support continuous improvement.
- Run the Marketing Function: Run the Marketing function, both outbound and inbound.
- Reporting: Report monthly sales performance and sales forecasts to the management team; report to the Board on a quarterly basis.
Requirements:
- Academic Background: An academic background is required.
- Business Development Experience: Previous experience from Business Development or Key Account Management with a proven track record of delivering growth.
- Strategic Selling Experience: Experience with strategic selling and CRM-run processes; ability to interact at the executive level, report at Board Meeting level.
- Team Management Experience: Successful track record at building and managing a successful Sales team.
- Marketing Experience: Solid understanding of marketing in a high-tech environment, ability to deploy a Marketing Plan beyond marcom.
- International Experience: Exposure to international activities; international experience a plus.
