Senior Finance Manager

Glenmark Specialty SA, a subsidiary of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited, is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join its team in Neuchatel, Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards and local GAAP, as well as prepare disclosures as per Indian listing norms.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
- Transfer Pricing: Undertake periodic transfer price setting for the operations and transfer pricing documentation.
- Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial planning, budgeting, and management reporting for Swiss subsidiaries, focusing on areas such as research, clinical trials, development, and manufacturing.
- ERP Implementation: Implement ERP modules and support IT change implementation.
- Financial Oversight: Oversee financial aspects of trading operations and engage with business teams to review contracts for licensing deals, restructuring, asset transfers, etc.
- Internal Controls: Strengthen internal controls specific to the operations.
- Team Management: Manage, train, develop, and grow a team of two direct reports.
- Treasury Operations: Oversee treasury operations and banking relations.
- Budget Adherence: Ensure adherence to budgets and support cost optimization activities.
- Process Development: Draft SOPs for new processes and strengthen procure-to-pay, record-to-report processes.
- Policy Alignment: Align policies and processes with Group policies.
- At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, in a senior position covering multiple geographies.
- Experience managing several business units and ability to communicate and report with C-level executives.
- Prior experience in managing a small team.
- Stellar knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards is an absolute must.
- Excellent command of English is required, and Hindi is highly desirable. Additional languages are a plus.
