About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Officine Panerai. As a key member of our Finance Manufacturing Team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Acting as a finance business partner to our manufacturing departments, providing expert guidance and support to drive business decisions.
• Safeguarding financial objectives through P&L and asset management, analyzing financial impacts of budget/forecast deviations, and maintaining an independent view of Finance in business decisions.
• Driving insightful analysis and financial visibility to enable strategic and operational decisions.
• Sharing and explaining monthly results throughout the manufacturing organization.
• Promoting financial discipline within the organization, ensuring quality of financial forecasts, and compliance with corporate finance policies.
• Developing a close and proactive collaboration with all manufacturing departments.
• Working on ad hoc Finance projects to bring better functional efficiency and effectiveness.
• Key contact for Richemont accounting department.

Financial Planning & Closing

You will be responsible for:

• Developing budgets, estimates, and rolling forecasts according to financial frameworks for some of our manufacturing departments.
• Monitoring financial targets/KPIs and related processes.
• In charge of global stock forecasting, working closely with our Supply Chain team.
• In collaboration with Richemont accounting department, monitoring monthly closing process.
• In charge of investments (CAPEX): ROI calculation, approval requests, and booking.

Internal Controls

You will be responsible for:

• ICS leader for the manufacture, animating ICS program in accordance with Group ICS Policies and Procedures.
• Managing the Group Riskonnect reporting system to ensure accurate and complete information is documented by control owners, including control activities, results of control reviews, and progress of remediation plans for manufacturing scope.
• Coordinating with external auditors/internal auditors on review of in-scope business cycles or process reviews and ensuring issues are resolved timely.

Manufacturing Controlling Activities

You will be responsible for:

• Contributing to industrial performance analysis.
• Contributing to product costing management.

Finance Transformation Projects & Process Automation

You will be responsible for:

• Identifying, defining, and driving process/system improvement projects in line with business needs, while continuously improving tools and processes.
• Working closely with our Finance Data Analyst for digitalization and data-visualization to provide adequate analysis for business and strategic decision making.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Master's degree or equivalent in Finance.
• Between 5 and 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role in an industrial environment.
• Previous experience in the watch industry is a plus.
• Strong analytical mind with excellent interpersonal communication skills and problem-solving capability.
• Must be results-oriented, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good experience or knowledge of SAP/Business Intelligence with a strong focus on manufacturing specificities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in the use of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of PowerBi and/or SQL would be a plus.
• High proficiency in written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
