Risk Management Leader for Securities Trading

SalaryThe annual salary for this position is CHF 180'000, complemented by additional stock appreciation rights that allow you to participate in the company's value increase.
Job DescriptionThis role demands a highly experienced and hands-on Risk Management Director to lead our risk management function. You will be responsible for overseeing all types of risks affecting the organization. With operational risks being of primary importance, as RULEMATCH operates purely as a market operator, you will also manage financial and reputational risks, and have overall responsibility for the company-wide internal control system.
You will work closely with the Chief Information Security Officer and the Director of Compliance, who are accountable for their respective areas within the common risk management framework. Your reports will go directly to the CEO and the Board of Directors.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A minimum of several years of experience in risk management within the securities trading or post-trading area, preferably in a leadership role and within a financial market infrastructure regulated by FINMA or a similar regulatory authority.
- In-depth knowledge of securities trading or post-trading processes is essential.
- Proven experience in implementing risk management frameworks.
- A university degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred (equivalent work experience will be considered).
- Relevant professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, CFA, or similar are highly desirable.
- Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken, is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with strategic thinking and attention to detail, are necessary.
