As part of our Captive Management Team in Zurich, we are seeking an experienced Captive Administrator to support our local team of captive companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance on Risk and Compliance matters to clients and colleagues as required.
- Support clients and function holders in day-to-day business and company development.
- Assist other workstream leaders and function holders (General Manager, Risk Officer, Compliance Officer) as appropriate.
- Prepare for and attend board meetings, present assigned matters and key information.
- Support in creating and reviewing management accounts, trial balances, statutory accounts, and all other reporting requirements.
- Analyze and recommend solutions on transactions, questions and processes.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a Swiss commercial apprenticeship, further education in accounting, law or economics desirable. Previous experience in the (re)insurance industry is essential, with good general knowledge of insurance industry products, regulations, risk management and developments. The ideal candidate will enjoy administrative tasks in a corporate and regulatory environment, with a growing level of autonomy. They should be eager to grow their level of responsibility in sync with their personal progression in this extendable role. A high degree of confidentiality and passion for administrative tasks are also essential. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written English; French is a plus.
