Design Advisory Director

As a Tetris Design Advisory Director, you will be responsible for providing strategic design advisory services to clients in the commercial real estate industry. You will work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, design requirements, and market trends to develop innovative and effective design solutions. Your primary goal is to create spaces that enhance productivity, employee well-being, and brand identity.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Client Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor in all design-related matters. Understand their specific needs, goals, and objectives to deliver tailored design solutions.
**Design Strategy Development**: Collaborate with clients to develop design strategies aligned with their business goals. Conduct market research and analysis to identify design trends and best practices that can be applied to client projects.
**Project Management**: Lead and oversee the design process for multiple projects simultaneously. Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
**Design Conceptualization**: Develop innovative design concepts that reflect the client's brand, culture, and values. Present design ideas and options to clients, incorporating their feedback and ensuring alignment with their vision.
**Design Standards and Guidelines**: Establish and maintain design standards and guidelines to ensure consistency across projects and adherence to industry best practices. Provide guidance and support to design teams to ensure compliance with these standards.
**Quality Control**: Conduct regular site visits and design reviews to ensure that projects are meeting quality standards, addressing any design or construction issues that arise along the way.
**Team Leadership**: Provide guidance, mentoring, and leadership to design teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
Extensive experience in design advisory roles, preferably in the commercial real estate industry.
Strong understanding of design principles, aesthetics, and spatial planning.
Proficiency in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and ideas.
Proven track record in managing multiple design projects and delivering results within budget and timeline.
Understanding of sustainable design practices and knowledge of current industry trends.
Ability to collaborate and build relationships with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
As a Tetris Design Advisory Director, you will play a critical role in helping clients create exceptional workspaces that align with their business objectives and enhance employee experiences. Your expertise in design strategy, project management, and team leadership will contribute to the success of each project and strengthen the overall reputation of the Tetris brand.
