Our facility is nestled in the breathtaking valley of **Gstaad.** Offering picturesque, panoramic views of the **Swiss Alps **with over **270km of piste** for outdoor enthusiasts to explore.

We are committed to creating memorable and safe skiing adventures for children, fostering their love for the sport while ensuring their skill development and safety. Offering winter ski & snowboard camps for individual and groups of children ages 2-16 years old.

Lovell International Camps are looking for motivated, fun and professional ski & Snowboard instructors for the winter season 2023/2024. As a Ski Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in introducing kids to the joys of skiing while fostering a safe and engaging learning environment. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to creating lasting memories for families and inspiring the next generation of skiers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver exceptional ski lessons to children of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced, in group and private settings.
- Supervise and create a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages children to learn, explore, and build confidence on and off the slopes.
- Develop age-appropriate lesson plans and teaching strategies that align with our curriculum and safety guidelines.
- Assess each child's progress and adapt teaching techniques to accommodate individual needs and learning styles.
- Ensure the safety of all children by enforcing proper skiing techniques and following resort safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with superiors, parents, and guardians. Providing feedback on children's progress and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and resort staff to enhance the overall guest experience and maintain a cohesive team environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Internationally recognised snow-sports certification (Level 2 or higher preferred).
- Proven experience as a children's ski instructor with a strong portfolio of successful student outcomes.
- In-depth understanding of child development and learning psychology in relation to skiing instruction.
- Exceptional communication skills (English required), especially in engaging with young learners and their families. *French, German, Spanish skills in demand
- Strong focus on safety, with the ability to enforce guidelines while keeping lessons enjoyable.
- Passion for skiing and working with children, coupled with patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
- Drivers licence (preferred)

**Programs Provided**:
**Winter Camp for individuals**: a residential and day camp designed for children who want to have a holiday experience which includes ski and snowboard instruction, a variety of sports, activities and excursions and the opportunity to learn or practise the English language. English-speaking children have the option of studying French.

**Winter Academy**: a unique educational experience, which combines academic classes with daily professional ski instruction and outdoor pursuits, within a broad and balanced curriculum so that each child is happy, can achieve success and fulfil his or her true potential.

**Group Camps**: residential camp for larger school groups which provide ski instruction and afternoon and evening activities.

**Kids Club**: flexible day care for children ages 2 - 5 years old. Fun games and activities, swimming and ski lessons.
