For our Sales Team as a part of the Swiss Market of PMI, we are looking for a Territory Lead for the Italian part of Switzerland (based in Ticino).
In this position you will successfully manage your territory - Ticino south (Lugano region to Chiasso) by activating relevant touchpoints within your defined geographical territory to deploy PMI’s strategy. You will lead the deployment of key initiatives into Key Accounts, independent Point of Sales and others by developing and maintaining close relationships with partners/retailers whilst following and assessing their performance (key performance indicators).
**Responsibilities**:
1. Understand territory characteristics and specificities (inhabitants, geography, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods trends, consumer flows, Risk Reduced/industry shares and volumes, etc.) and create awareness on Heat not Burn products, Nicotine pouch categories and cigarettes being THE representative person for the territory
2. Build up strong and long-term relationship with our partners (Physical or remote): Provide onboarding, training and support.
3. Convert and retain all Legal Aged Smokers (LAS) retailers/partners and their LAS employees
4. Define individual territory action plan. Visits, calls or other activities based on mission and analyzes of Point of sales & Retailer performance.
5. Ready to work on shopping malls, fairs and events
6. Perform requested activities based on action plan or pilot project, follow up on performance, and provide actionable report to improve brand execution.
7. Territory analysis together with your Area Manager.
8. Share feedback and methodologies with project owners, peers and line manager to improve ways of working and ultimately enhance collaboration across department.
9. Other back-office activities stock, inventory, training, team meetings/calls, webcasts
We’re looking for someone with
- Relevant work experience in Sales min. 2 years
- Strong analytical mindset, critical thinking and territory/account management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High priority setting and planning capacities with the ability to react quickly and effectively. Able to deal with ambiguity, autonomous and highly action oriented.
- Organization savviness with ability to connect with business goals and opportunities at different levels
- Able to work as one team, see value in collaboration
- Proficiency in English, Italian, French is a plus
- Driving license min. 2 years seniority
