**About the internship**

**Dates: Early July to Mid-End August**

This role contributes to the development of our new training programme. We are leveraging the new B Lab Standards for B Corps and the expertise within the B Lab Switzerland community - which also includes members of our Swiss programmes such as the Swiss Triple Impact or Swiss Boards for Agenda 2030 - to create a practical training programme for sustainability leaders in Switzerland.

Two modules of the programme are already developed. The remaining three will be completed in July and August. They focus on “What good looks like in Sustainability”, “how to Engage stakeholders” and “Driving Change”. As part of the small team developing the programme you will contribute by bringing insights from research, discussions with companies in our network and ideally your own experience to help develop the material.

A typical day will involve 1) internet research and synthesis of insights to include in the training 2) Development of case studies of best practice through research and interaction with companies in our ecosystem 3) Discussion with other team members on training design, content and exercises.

In this role you will develop a deep understanding of: how companies successfully integrate sustainability into their businesses; B Lab’s new standards for B Corps; and B Lab’s ecosystem

The need for businesses to integrate sustainability into their core operations has never been greater. Leveraging the expertise of 1000+ companies in B Lab Switzerland’s ecosystem and the new standards for B Corps, we are developing a Sustainability Change-Makers Training Programme to equip participants with the essential knowledge, tools, and best practices to drive impactful change.

As part of the team developing the modules of the programme you will:

- Research and synthesize sustainability trends and practices
- Identify and document examples of best practice in key sustainability domains
- Interact with companies within B Lab Switzerland’s ecosystem to document their approach to specific sustainability challenges and the impact of their actions
- Develop presentation material for the training programme

The intern will gain a rich understanding of B Lab’s approach to measuring the environmental and social impact of businesses and B Corp Certification. She/he will gain practical insights from B Corps and other companies in the B Lab Switzerland ecosystem on how leading businesses are improving their impact. And as part of a small team, be an important contributor to the development of a new training programme for sustaianbility leaders.

**Education**: Ideally, Maser or MBA

**Experience**: Ideally, experience in sustainability

**Language**: English, French (preferred), German (a plus)

**Desired Skills**:

- Research and synthesis on key sustainability topics
- Interviewing skills for discussions with companies
- Clear written communication skills (or develop training material)
