**What it's about**

The Global Sustainability Investment Leader will be responsible for working with the Global Sustainability Office Chair and reporting to the Investments Chief Operating Officer. The Global Sustainability Investment leader has primary accountability to work with Partners Group’s investment teams and portfolio company assets to educate, support and monitor the progress against ESG commitments. The primary global responsibilities include:

- Create an effective internal and external engagement model of education and ESG knowledge for Partners Group’s global investments, supporting all asset classes (private equity, infrastructure, real estate and debt) and both control and not-control investments
- Define and create consistent templates, playbooks and best practices, including case studies, support tools, and external resources through the life cycle of an investment
- Establish governance routines and define/implement internal controls to disclose, monitor, and drive action against regulatory and Partners Group’s commitments measured through data
- Collaborate with investment teams and portfolio companies to create bespoke solutions to meet sustainability commitments
- Support the client solutions (CSOL) team to serve current and prospective clients’ ESG-related requests and reporting
- Drive colleague education to deliver advocacy and engagement of ESG in a way that it becomes integrated within the culture and operations of Partners Group

**What we expect**
- 5-7+ years of experience in a mix of financial markets and driving sustainable transformation in mid-sized businesses
- Solid knowledge of ESG, including regulatory and industry initiatives and understanding of the rapidly evolving regulatory environment and client demands
- Experience leading and engaging teams, ideally across multiple locations
- Experience with establishing governance and reporting mechanisms that build a culture of accountability, collaboration and teamwork
- Client facing experience
- An entrepreneurial and self-directed person, able to manage effectively and complete tasks in demanding timelines and with competing priorities
- Excellent analytical skills e.g., in integrating ESG factors into investment and business analysis and decisions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to travel for work with portfolio companies & assets
- International background, e.g., experience working in international and professional environment
- Top academic credentials (Master/MBA preferred)
