**About the Role**
The Project and Change Management Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and supporting a diverse range of projects and change initiatives. This position is designed for a dynamic individual who can lead a team of project and change professionals to deliver exceptional results and support the ongoing transformation efforts of the department.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead and manage a team of project and change team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Drive the execution and support of various projects and change initiatives, aligning with the department's strategic goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals and integrate change management strategies.
- Provide leadership and direction for departmental projects, either by leading or offering support as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including regular communication and updates.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement project management and change management strategies to optimize team performance and project outcomes.
- Report on project progress, challenges, and successes to the Project and Change Management Lead and other relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in change and project and change management processes, leveraging automation and technology where appropriate.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to teams, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

**About the Team**
Global Finance Operations & Transformation (GFO&T) is the unit responsible for the accounting and reporting of accurate and consistent financial information Globally for Swiss Re for external reporting and internal analysis facilitating strategic decision-making. This includes IFRS for Group as well as statutory financial information for all Swiss Re's legal entities, including SST and Solvency II. GFO&T spearheads the transformation of Group Finance, streamlining it towards a simpler, more effective forward-looking organisation.

**About You**
You're a dynamic and engaging leader who brings the best out of individuals and teams to support the overall goals of the Finance Operations & Projects team. In addition, you are a confident communicator who can engage with colleagues with diverse backgrounds.

Key requirements include:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in finance, accounting or reporting activities preferably within a (Re)insurance environment.
- Proven experience in project management and change management within a finance or operations environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and complex projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Ability to engage with and influence stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
- Excellent understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience with change management principles and practices.
- Good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Familiarity with financial systems and databases, and the ability to liaise effectively between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical and decision-making abilities with a problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
