MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS LEAD

(A fixed-term contract - duration of 18 months)

Why we are recruiting:
The Marketing Communications team is responsible for communicating a clear value proposition for the global community to partner with the Forum. Its objective is to generate consistent, high-quality and multi-channel communications for Forum constituents, with a strong focus on the business audience.

Reporting Lines and Interactions:
The Marketing Communications Lead will report to the Marketing Content Lead. This person will work with various teams who need marketing content to engage constituents in their activities, as well as with the Public Engagement and Business departments.

Main Responsibilities:
- Understand the marketing objectives and needs of different teams, scope out their requirements, and translate them into multi-channel communication campaigns with clear standards for success, deliverable timelines and data-driven improvements- Support the execution of these campaigns by advising on the communications plan and content strategy, managing the content production, and involving various internal and external experts as well as marketing agencies as necessary- Create compelling and tailored content to convey complex ideas in a simple and clear manner, driving companies and constituents to engage with the Forum’s initiatives and events.-
- Develop branding and terminology guidelines as well as content templates, and share best practices to ensure consistency across all marketing materials- Gauge the effectiveness and impact of our messaging to improve the quality and performance of our communication through data-driven insights. Promote culture of data driven decisions.- Ability to create and manage content production, while also overseeing complex communications projects with multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization, at a rapid pace- Capacity to develop creative strategies to increase constituents’ engagement across Forum’s platforms (e.g. website, our community platform TopLink etc).- Professional and collegiate manner in interacting with internal colleagues of diverse backgrounds- Strong sense of responsibility, accountability and results, willingness to learn, open-mindedness and sound judgment in unexpected situations

Preferred Requirements and Experience:
- Broad intellectual background with a Master’s degree or equivalent in marketing, communications or related discipline- 9+ years’ professional work experience in marketing, content production, digital marketing- Perfect command of verbal and written English; and excellent professional writing skills in English, especially for business/B2B marketing- Experience and knowledge of the end-to-end customer engagement process- Hands-on experience of building and delivering marketing and communications campaigns- Extreme attention to detail (spelling, formatting, consistency)- Ability to understand various interests, make sense of ambiguity, build trusted relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders, and influence teams- Outstanding organizational skills. Proven track record in the management of complex projects, deadlines and processes, especially in dynamic matrix organizations. Ability to push multiple projects along simultaneously in a fast-paced environment- Self-starter, autonomous, hands-on, committed and dynamic- Experience of working with a network of 3rd party agencies and consultancies is a plus- High level of proficiency in PowerPoint. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is a plus- Experience with Salesforce/Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus
