Director, Supply Chain for New Manufacturing Sites

**The Role**:
The Director, Supply Chain for New Manufacturing Sites is a newly created position that will provide strategic guidance for the supply chain design and build at our three new manufacturing sites in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom. The Director, New Manufacturing Supply Chain will be responsible for all supply chain activities for site qualification and commercial operational readiness. This leader will implement and maintain standards for supply chain excellence across all newly created manufacturing sites and serve on the New Manufacturing leadership team.

**Here’s What You’ll Do**:
Oversee supply chain process development and design for Moderna’s new sites, including demand translation and supply planning.

Drive tactical and operational planning across the three sites and ensure coordination with the global team leading the build of the sites.

Lead the supply review process and is accountable for supply planning, inventory planning, purchasing forecasting and adherence to agreed targets.

Maintains capacity model for each of the sites and identifies improvement opportunities.

Oversee the planning process and is accountable supply planning, inventory planning and adherence business targets while ensuring regulatory and compliance frameworks.

Ensure implementation of lifecycle change initiatives impacting supply.

Lead and develop an organizational function with multiple matrix reports across a matrixed organization.

**Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table**:
University degree in science (chemistry, biology, pharmacy or engineering) and/or business administration

12 years in various Supply Chain, Project Management, and Manufacturing functions (strong preference towards Pharmaceutical and Biotech experience)

Experience leading Supply Chain Organizations

Working knowledge of ERP systems in a production planning setting, preferably SAP

Strong knowledge of relevant FDA, OSHA, and Customs guidelines and regulations

Excellent judgment and ability to communicate complex issues in a scientifically sound and understandable way.

Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written).

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to effectively collaborate effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment.
