In order to steer the growth of Axpo's Business Area Trading & Sales, it is crucial to forecast and manage liquidity needs accurately. As the T&S Liquidity Controller, you play an essential part in this process in close collaboration with Risk Management and Treasury. From day one, you take on responsibility and enjoy the freedom and flexibility to contribute and implement your own ideas and solutions.

**What you will do**:

- You drive data and system improvements for relevant forecasting inputs, including all entities abroad
- You are responsible for the backtesting of liquidity forecast vs. actuals, analyzing and understanding deviations, and leading the subsequent correction actions (data quality & system set-up)
- You conduct an in-depth analysis of all liquidity & cash flow-related aspects of Trading & Sales
- You provide recommendations to the T&S Management for steering and optimizing liquidity needs
- You ensure favourable IFRS treatment of optimization measures in collaboration with Division Controllers and Corporate Accounting
- You support ad-hoc analysis and report to various stakeholders including executive management

**What you bring & who you are**:

- You successfully completed a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Business Informatics. Extra financial certification e.g. Chartered Financial Analyst, or Financial Risk Manager would be an extra asset.
- You bring an in-depth understanding of derivatives and associated cash flows
- You have a flair for technology, systems and data management. You are an expert user of Excel and Power BI and familiar with Hyperion, VBA, and SQL
- Knowledge of commodity energy markets is a plus
- Previous exposure to Treasury/Trade Finance is a plus
- Your analytical and innovative mindset round off your profile
- You are fluent in English
