Abbott Established Pharma Division (EPD) is looking for an

**Information Architect**

to be based in Allschwil
- Basel, Switzerland

**Primary Job Function**:

- Lead the Information Architecture framework and drive the identification, definition and analysis of how information assets aid business outcomes
- Responsible for validating the data and analytics requirements for information based on business requirements.
- Overall owner of analytics demand pipeline, ensuring appropriate business prioritization, business requirements gathering, and alignment with global business and IT strategies

**Core Job Responsibilities**:

- Identify areas for improvement in terms of information structure and flow, automation, information representation and advise functional counterparts and project teams for best practice and implementation
- Lead and be a key contributor to the development and maintenance of an overall Information Architecture framework components including Data Glossary & Data Standards, Information Models, Information Flow, Information Governance, and Training
- Work directly with functional counterparts to capture business requirements and translate into digital capabilities roadmaps.
- Rationalize functional analytics roadmaps to ensure cross-functional solutions addressing functional needs. Includes working directly with EA COE to manage/own overall data ingestion roadmap prioritization
- Work with EPD IT functional architects to evaluate & provide recommendations on platforms & architecture required to deliver information capabilities to Abbott in accordance with development roadmaps
- Demand sourcing and generation for digital innovation
- Project Management of pilot/lighthouse digital solution implementations. Successful implementations handed off to Digital Platform and Vendor Management for operationalization

**Minimum Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar

**Minimum Experience/Training Required**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong background as an Architect with Information layers and data modeling
- In-depth experience of designing and implementing information solutions.
- Hands-on experience with implementing data and analytics management programs is preferred.
- Master Data Governance experience.
- Ability to cooperate and communicate with people at different organization levels and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Project and program management experience delivering digital solutions. Proven experience directing vendors in implementation. Excellent track record in delivering complex and cross functional programs
- Good experience with Agile SCRUM development
- Able to articulate best practices in design of web and mobile solutions, integrating multiple cloud platforms to deliver on business outcomes
- Kanban, Scrum, Servlets, serverless technology, API engagement, platform integration (SF, Adobe, WordPress) in service of customer-facing digital channels at Abbott
- Experience outside of Life Sciences Commercial function (e.g. Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or cross-industry experience, etc.) a plus
- Understanding of global cybersecurity regulations and privacy, including GDPR, to ensure solutions are built to protect Abbott data and Abbott customer data, especially in the case of PII and PHI (Privacy by Design)
- Familiar with Software Quality Assurance processes to validate vendor compliance with governmental regulations, design best practices, and Abbott policy
- Experience with WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager, Bitrix a plus
- Certified in any SAP module, minimum of two full implementation cycles.
- Support new business development opportunities with emphasis on experience delivery platforms including Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Target, Adobe Campaign, AWS Lambda, AWS Lex.
- Strong understating of:

- Cloud-based technologies and services (Amazon Web Services: S3, Athena, Glue, Redshift)
- Visualization technologies e.g. Fiori, Power BI etc
- SQL and databases e.g. Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, PostgreSQL
- Experience implementing Adobe Experience Manager Solution for web and mobile.
- Strong experience in ETL processes and automation, Redshift, Power BI and related technologies.
- Experience with GxP validation and large-scale IT implementations (e.g. ERP, CRM, QSM, etc.)
